Getting close to that new graphics card time I think, any recommendations for a sub $250 card? Looks like I can get a 2Gb GTX750 Ti for about that?

No ATi cards, have a 5770 and I wont buy Ati again pain in the arse...

PC is i5 2500k clocked, play world of tanks, GTA V etc at the moment on a 2550x1440 monitor.

I would recommend against a 750Ti, its old tech, I would get a GTX 960 or save up a little until you can get that (just outside of your budget).  and agreed with Ati cards but mostly due to the fact nvidia are doing cooler things like limelight/shield etc.

Check out this.
3+ steps at a minimum or probably not worth it.

I would go for a 960, its a bit higher then budget but I think its worth the stretch. If you really wanna keep costs down buy from Amazon and you can get one for $280~

Thanks, everything I am considering is at least 3 levels up. the 5770 wasnt new or flash when I bought it and that was 2011!

$280 for a 960ti from amazon seems a decent deal and I have ~ $80 credit there.

Is there any particular model for $200USD ish?

Hmm basically 4gb = not a big improvement until you push the resolution so high your framerate drops too low anyhow...

I discounted the 4gb but perhaps I would have needed it for GTA V at 1440...

Ordered Thursday, delivered Monday. Awesome!

GTA V uses 2.5gb vram for 1440p so really should have gone for the 4gb card but it seems to be running fine.
