not an ssd but a Solid State Hybrid Drive, pretty big difference there.

US pricing is really good. The elite controller alone is worth USD$150. That's $50 savings right there + Hybrid SSD add on. Still no confirmed release date for the elite controller in NZ but thankfully it's NZ$199 incl GST here. We get a better deal that the Americans who pay have to pay tax on top of USD$150.

lol, sucker :P   personally I don't care if its the best controller in the world, for $200 its overpriced.  the xbox elite price isnt bad though, just the controller by itself is overpriced.
