Ok heres the low down i brought a new computer from Playtech  as i seriously needed to upgrade my comp to play these new DX10 games such as Crysis and to run games smoother

couldnt upgrade my old computer because everything was outdated. top of the range bout 4 years ago with a 3.4ghz processor

but anyway  the new comp i brought is a (or ment to be ) 3.6ghz overclocked quadcore  but my computer only picks it up as 2.4 ghz quad

Did the comp company rip me off or dosnt vista pick up overclocks ?

would also like to know how to get into the overclocking menus etc

Own u guys later

First, need more info on motherboard/processor. Second, if the shop sold it to you as an overclocked machine, download cpu-z and run it (this will tell you what the processor is running at) If the POST and cpu-z are showing 2.4ghz, ring playtech and have a go :)
1.2ghz is a huge overclock if the machine is on stock cooling?
