Hi
I took the plunge and got an Xbox One with Kinect. My kids need soemthing to do duing the long winter and I wanted a bluray player etc. At the time, this seemed the toy to get. Boy, am I sweating now....
I created a MS account for me and one for each of my twins. This seemed the way to do it, but now, if Kinect is having a bad day (and it seems to have a few, lately) then users are required or constantly prompted to sign in.
Problem 1: Since there is no password remembering allowed, the kids have to know their compulsory high difficulty password. They are 5. This means, I cannot leave the room when they play, because if they change games (and all the games are kid friendly) then sure enough, the Xbox will stop all play, declare it can't ID somebody in the room and demand a manual sign in - we don't have a keyboard, so this is a lengthy process that only I can manage.
Problem 2: if the first person to the Xbox is twin1 and the game is saved, then the next day twin2 is first in the room, the saved games cannot be loaded, as it's a different profile. This seems to be inconsistent between titles.
What happens when friends come over for a visit, how do they play?
How do Xbox One users get around this high security requirement?
Any hints or tips or suggestions to allow me some peace while the kids play, would be greatly appreciated. This is my first console ever, so feel free to expand.
Thanks
Gund
