So there is an uprated battery pack which boosts the woefull Wii U controller battery life to something approaching acceptable.

 

I don't see it available locally anywhere and would buy it from Amazon except that YouShop won't handle batteries...

 

Anyone have any leads on an NZ source that isn't charging a ludicrous mark up?

Well I bought from Amazon.com via a Japan seller who ships internationally - cost me $60 which is about as good as I am going to get I think - considering they are US$39 from the US Nintendo store, that is fairly decent
