Hi.

Anyone have luck buying these from international websites and using them on your NZ Account? I assume it licenses the account rather than the console, so it's probably not possible to load a US Card into a US Account and make use of it on my NZ Account on the same PS4?

Have to make an additional account that is US for it to work, I have many PS accounts in different zones just to get the best pricing on things.

Well my NZ Account is the one that has traditionally had the PS Plus, as all the games I had loaded on it that were freebies were under that.

I assume you don't need a PS Plus account in every region?

What happens if I PS Plus my US Account, will my NZ Account acquired games not work?

Not sure. Have always run my ps plus on the NZ account as I was not able to get the code that came with the ps4 to load against my US account. If you already have free games on the NZ account I would expect you need to keep paying on that one so that you keep those free games, if you still want them.

So to your knowledge there is no alternative to paying the $89 that works with my NZ Account?

Not to my knowledge. When I last looked into it, changing the region of the account wasnt happening.

Yeah you will need to keep up the ps plus subscription on your NZ account if you want to keep playing the already acquired games

I haven't been able to change regions... 4.5 years and my PS account is still stuck in NZ. :(
