you'll find a lot of the time EB Games stores will have stuff that's not on their website. managers like to order in stuff specifically for their store and they also have a huge selection of second-hand products.

they also order stuff in if you ask them nicely Tongue out

try out pricespy.co.nz - they may not have a main section for nintendo ds but if you search you may find an online store carrying what you're after. at EB Games and Gamesman did u actually ask if they would order it in for you? because a lot of the time if you ask nicely they will. helps if you don't call them up too, but if you actually see them in person. otherwise trademe would be another place to try. you could always check out some australian electronics websites?

if you're gona get one off trademe i'd recommend buying one tomorrow (sunday) because if you're looking for a quick trade sundays best because you can deposit the money, it will have cleared on monday and then the guy can hopefully send it off to you monday/tuesday that way you'll get its tuesday-thursday and you won't have to wait over the weekend.

Just FYI, I ordered one for my daughter off TradeMe, from the Aussie guy who is listing them.

BuyNow on a Sunday, took 4 emails to him, to reply that he has received my payment, then sent a message Monday saying it has finally been sent. So far, it has taken 14 days with still nothing in my hand (even though it's a long weekend, his communication skills are useless).

In the mean time, I've bought and received stuff via Ebay from HongKong, with daily emails and track and trace.

In short, I'd be very wary of buying off this Australian guy.

don't buy off people in australia on trademe. it's a waste of time. also ebay is much worse than trademe.

I agree with TM, but my personal experience with EBay is quite the opposite, I've picked up tons of stuff from the USA, England and Hong Kong with zero problems and very prompt delivery.

Rather than a credit card, get one of those Visa debit gift cards. Does the same as a normal CC enabling you to buy stuff online. NZPost sell them. Details are here.

So far it's taken 3 weeks for my Action Replay unit and it still hasn't turned up (holiday weekend probably doesn't help). You could probably pick up a debit card and buy from the Auckland guy quicker tbh. You don't need a CC to be authenticated user, you can do it with internet banking.
