Hi folks, just wondering if anyone has struck the problem with the PS store not accepting credit card or paypal payments. I managed to make one purchase when I set it up at Christmas but now will not accept either. Any work arounds? Cheers.

Good luck.  I'm going to reset my PS3 before selling, so this is a good reminder to go and clear my credit card details from the PS Store beforehand.  Thanks.

Yep it is for the NZ store. If I set up a US account will this affect the one purchase I made in the NZ one?

yeah, you would need 2 PSN accounts (on for US and one for NZ).

Be careful I had the same problem. Checked my card statement the other day and they transactions had actually gone through. So now I have $100+ in credit...

Interesting; I had a message a few days ago saying that my membership was due to renew in a week but that my card on file was not valid (even though it was). I manually renewed in advance and it went through fine.

I've had similar issues. I've had a few people mention entering your name in ALL CAPS fixed it for them. Other than that, just make sure you're using a Credit Card from the country that you're buying from (i.e. NZ card for an NZ account). Like others in here, I buy Wallet funds from online sites to fund my AU account (moved over a few years back. Sadly can't just change country. Thanks, Sony :P).

I have had no end of problem paying sony and microsoft. Its like they do everything possible to make it hard. Cant even paypal microsoft for some things unless you have a US billing and card on the paypal account that totally verifes even paying from stored money now. Sony was OK last time I used the US store with stored paypal money.
