Hi I got a game that I got free over Christmas - it's called Assassin's Creed III.

I can't play anything because after creating a profile and selecting a face, the next screen says "punkbuster kicked you out after 0s" or something like that.

Does it mean I can't actually play this?

Also is there any way that I can download a savegame with all things unlocked and play it offline?

Just want to exercise the graphics card and no more.

The punkbuster version that was bundled will likely be way out of date (if installed at all) or can't run with current user.

The posted fix is

run C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed III\redist\PunkBuster and run the pbsvc program as admin

Or Manually udpate it, http://evenbalance.com/downloads/pbsvc/pbsvc.exe often stuggles to update in-game if at all.
