Hi guys. I'm new here. I want to say I love playing games. Mostly classics like Mario. Anyhow. Glad I found this forum!

Welcome. I too find it quite relaxing, and stressful, and enraging and frustrating and joyous. Sometimes seconds apart. A little like kids!

I love games.  My father in law also plays (he's 65) and I'm not sure if he actually finds them relaxing given he spends most of the time swearing at the TV and complaining that the controls are broken.

I like gaming too but I tend not to tell friends and some family members. They aren't interested and have a weird, old-fashioned view and see it as childish and a waste of time. You might think "not real friends then". They are very close friends but just have a different view on this.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I use to enjoy playing Battlefield. Then I found myself having wee physical spasms (like a tic) every time I was killed. I gave up and now play the guitar instead. Now that's relaxing!
