I'm just starting to get into this, been playing it heaps on the iPad (Magic Duels) and have managed to buy enough cards to make a deck. I know Hobbymasters in Takapuna has the Friday night meet up as thats where i brought my cards but it starts at 4:30pm and goes to 7:30pm which is a bit hard for me with work and traffic going from West Auckland.

Does any know of other meet ups in Auckland and particularly West Auckland? Or are there any West Auckland players (Royal Heights/Massey) keen to meet up?

Cheers

My personal experience with Vagabond (in Hamilton), was I walked in and got looked at like some sort of foreign invader - the atmosphere wasn't the most inviting. This was a while back, so hopefully it's changed a bit.

Magic is a fun, but dangerously expensive hobby - good luck.

Cheers for that,

I found Hobbymasters in Takapuna quite inviting. I'm starting to see how MTG can start to suck up your money!!!! My problem is finding players!
