Have been looking at a new gaming chair but did not find the AK Racing or Thunder models too comfy.

Saw this one @ Mighty Ape

Anyone tried it or the larger version :

I would spend at most 2 hours a day in the chair (mostly playing Overwatch) so not really keen to invest $400+ but my $99 warehouse one is over 10 years old and needs replacing.

Havent tried those but I have a Thunderx3 T22. Can sit in it for 10 - 12 hours with no issues. The T12 is way too hard.

Sorry have not tried them. I don't know if they have a showroom where you can sit in them or not..

Warehouse stationary had some good chairs for around $350 I tried a LOT and there were some good ones... I caved though and bought a NobleChair, probably out of your price range though ($599)

I too found the DX Racer chairs horrible. And I do a lot of coding in my chair, so spending the $ was easily justified.
