I am really disappointed at what this is going to end up being. I wanted a single player campaign, but it's not really playable alone it would seem. I had hoped it was a cross between AC: Black Flag and Sid Miers Pirates!

Well, that is off my list for now.

Yes, this was on my radar (ha see what I did there) but the multiplayer focus has definitely put me off. Like you, I was hoping for a Sid Meier's: Pirates type game with option for multiplayer as well. Ahh well, will reserve judgement until it actually comes out and perhaps pick it up on sale.

Its always been m/player focused from the start I thought, at least thats how I always viewed it.

I'll prob grab it, doubt any of my mates will though, so will have to find some more ;)

I was going to get GP for it, but in the end I don't think I'll end up with either. Maybe when Crackdown 3 is released I might.

I felt that way, I am not sure I put 20 hours total on my xbox one original and xbox one S, but I got The Division for $10 at Xmas for the Xbox One and I have put about 3 times that many hours on it since.

It helps I won an Xbox One X at xmas time. The backwards compatibility, play on W10 over a remote connection and xbox exclusives have made me happier. I don't even hate the controller as much as I used to, though I still head and shoulders prefer my PS4 Pro.

The UI on the Xbox One is hideous, I cannot understand MS persisting with it.

Apparently, there is no map (well it's inside the ship) and you can't easily sail the ship on your behalf.

Sounds like a nightmare requiring consistent quality of seaman ship from every player you interact with.

Too much hard work.

Meh, that doesn't so much amusing as annoying. I don't like my own progress in a game dependant on others. I don't mind team games, so long as I can progress on my own as well.
