Me again.. I've just been offered a very clean Quake 4 game but the guy says he doesn't have the key. It's all original with box and instructions... does anyone know if this will play without the key?

Cheers, cooldragon

The keys are normally used for when installing the game, so no key = no installation.
The keys are usually inside the covers of the manuals or on the back of the CD case.

Yes, I realise that... I just wondered if there was a way around it.

Thanks,

Apart from gaining someone elses key, no way round it.

If the game dosent use the key for online games (the way Steam/Half life does), then using someone elses is just a moral dilemma more than anything :)
