Looks pretty slick. I likely going to order the $50 version. Xcom/Civ are my two favourite franchises of all time.
Now if someone would remake the original Syndicate real time top down squad based shooter, I'd be in heaven.

Have you checked out Satellite Reign? It's not a bad Syndicate clone and worth a few mindless hours of play.
xpd:
Yup, a true Syndicate remake would be fantastic - dont touch the gameplay at all, just up the graphics and sound :)
Satellite Reign is ok, but dosent have that charm that Syndicate did.
Agreed, just remaster it. The gameplay was in a class of it's own.
I wish I knew developers with the talent for that, I'd remaster it with crowd sourcing myself!
I never liked Syndicate Wars.
I have an extra season discount pass code for anyone else who buys the game who didn't get one at the time, on a first in first-served basis.
Looks great.. just my cup of tea, have played large amount of hours on the original sequels and stylistic clones of Xcom/UFO
Go to buy it.. "Redeemable on the Epic Games Store" and I #noped the heck out of there. I'd literally rather buy something on Uplay and that says a lot.
I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

I have no idea why on earth people hate on a delivery platform like this. Seems crazy to miss out on a game as good as this will likely be over the platform it's delivered on.

Personally I simply don't like their business practices, e.g. exclusivity.
As for missing out, I suspect that anyone who wants to play it will do so and the only thing that will be missed is the customary payment to the developer. Personally, I'm fine with that given they chose to release an Epic exclusive.

Its a pain in the **** having to run multiple clients though.... Steam, Uplay, Origin, GOG, Epic....
If you had just Steam, you'd be complaining that the prices were too high and there was a monopoly etc.. Can't have it both ways :)
I predict that very shortly, in the coming 2 years, there is going to be a consolidation where Uplay or Origin, buy Epic and GOG or something like that.
I don't care what platform I use, I just want the game. It's nice if it's easy to get from 1 platform, but right now steam is a steaming pile of poo since they redid the library features and I can't even access my library.

I'm the opposite.. I just want every game on Steam, and it has to be a rare gem for me to play something off Steam. Epic I particularly dislike because of the way they are trying to drive people to use their platform by having exclusive games, including ones that were previously going to be on Steam.
That aside, I quite like the new look Steam.

First, you don't want to use Epic because of exclusivity, next you want everything on one platform.....

I want everything _available_ on Steam, not exclusively on Steam. Epic want things only on Epic.
To the best of my knowledge Valve have never paid or offered better royalties to a developer in exchange for exclusivity, whereas that's Epic's preferred modus operandi.
