picked up the Arctis 7 yesterday, and tried to update the firmware.

Currently sitting on
Transmitter Version: 1.19.0.0
Headset Version: 1.16.0.0
Software Version: 2.2.1.0

Still says critical update available, but no matter what I try the computer (and other computers) does not detect that the headset is connected by usb?

Any ideas?

You are using the USB cable that came with it? Tried different USB ports or cable? Have you tried charging it first then try again after an hour or so.

yup. all of the above. tried the factory reset button on the left earcup too.

 

 

 

it works fine.

 

 

 

i just want to update it and get rid of the notification on the steelseries engine...
