Anyone know where in NZ a shop has the revised model switch in stock? I've asked Mightyape and they aren't sure when they are getting it. The box is different as mainly red instead of white...

The only difference is the screen and associated battery efficiency? I would have thought the older models were in higher demand due to the exploit for custom booting.

Often when a product gets a revision but not a re-release its very hard to find out which is which unless you physically pick up or confirm with the seller that the new stock is indeed the new revision and not old stock. Same thing happens with graphics cards and motherboards all the time.

I didn't think they were on shelves until next month?

The box and serial number should show the new ones clearly - box is mostly red for the new ones I believe.

I too will be after one - the battery life boost is pretty significant!

Actually, it does seem as if they have been spotted in the wild in both Australia and Singapore according to this:

I'm keen to find out too – I also contacted Mighty Ape and had the same "we're not sure" response.

Only retailer that has it listed appears to be Noel Leeming.  No stock in any stores.

NZ doesn't have a Nintendo distributor any longer, I think they are sourced from Nintendo AU and in this case ordered in.

EB Games advised they won't have it till Oct! (lol),  Due to need to sell out of existing stock.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Unless they slash the prices, they will surely struggle to sell the old stock with the new ones arriving imminently?

Nice work, I'll try the same. Have been watching their website and it kept saying out of stock.

I want to sell my old one and get this. It's hackable so I guess it makes it a bit more valuable.

How long did you have to wait from ordering to being able to pick it up? I ordered mine Tuesday night and still nothing, order just says "processed"

13 days, I was told they enter their orders on Tue with the supplier, (no stock in NZ, comes from Aus) so it looks like you missed out for this week.

They will process the order next Tue, and it should arrive within a week so you're looking at 3rd Sept.

I noticed the neon is showing instock on The Wharehouse site, so maybe order from them?
