Compared to Elite Dangerous ? Prob not ;)

In saying that, I still love playing the original Police Quest / Kings Quest games rather than the remakes.

Note that the Archimedes version is also free, and is generally regarded as being the best version of the game. No bias here; I've never actually played it!

We had this on the BBC Master Compact. Still have the original user manual somewhere.

On a related note, Superior Software still exists and sells Windows versions of some of their old games. I wish I still had time to play Repton 3.

I've got Frontier (Elite II) boxed for the Amiga.  Was a fantastic game, an entire universe on a single 880k floppy :D

It always amuses me that the Acorn RISC Machine didn't take take off in the way that they likely envisaged and yet is probably the most commonly used chip in computing devices today.

I brought Frontier for the PC back in the day, but never really got into it. I found the learning curve was very steep.

I've got Elite in its original tape box with all the manuals for my Acorn Electron which is in storage. Never got further than Deadly though.

At some stage I'll get the computer down from attic give it a good wash and replace the capacitors as I saw on YouTube retro man cave.

A few years ago I delved into Oolite which was interesting.
