Assume you want to run Fortnite Chapter 2 but unsure what screen resolution you want. Anyway here's an estimate:
81 FPS 4k Ultra
137 FPS Ultra 1440p
179 FPS 1080p
chevrolux: I wouldn't spend that much on a PC and not get an RTX graphics card.
Building a PC is really quite simple these days. Consider Ryzen 3000 series, and RTX graphics.
looking at this one as well https://www.computerlounge.co.nz/shop/ready-to-ship/trooper-gaming-pc thoughts?
game-debate.com estimates a few more fps:
83 FPS 4k Ultra
139 FPS Ultra 1440p
183 FPS 1080p

Simple, yes, but it also doesn't cost much more (or in this case, seems to be it's a wash) to get it pre-built, and you get a 2 year RTB warranty on the Computer Lounge pre-builts, plus they stress test everything before hand.
Unless you actually enjoy the tinkering as much as using the final product, or you want specific components, I would say stick to pre-built. And I say that as someone who takes any excuse to custom build something.
If you are basing this on Fortnite, I would go for the the second one. While in some games the new AMD 5700 cards will clean up, it seems anything running Unreal Engine 4 suffers pretty badly for now. The motherboard seems to be quite a bit better as well.
