So I have a little time on my hands and and feel like blowing a bit of the time and money on buying a game. I'm stuck between the bizarre and polarising 'death stranding' and a predictably solid 'the outer worlds'

Thoughts and experiences please!

Depends what you're after, experience wise. Both are very different to each other, and pretty unique in their genre too - although it'd be hard to slap a genre label on Death Stranding.  I finished Outer Worlds the other day, and played a few hours of Death Stranding yesterday.  Outer Worlds is a fun, funny, colourful, build-your-stats RPG.  Death Stranding is the opposite of all that so far.  But Death Stranding has out-of-this-world graphics and the gameplay is so unique, I've never played anything like it, and I'm enjoying it immensely.

So it depends mostly on what you're looking for right now - funny colourful fps shooter rpg, or super serious (sometimes goofy) grim post-apocalypse postman simulator?
