My sons xbox currently has a gold and game pass subscription. I see there is now a game pass ultimate advertised for $1 for a quarter. Any benefit from changing from the current arrangement. I think I usually buy a gold membership each black friday.
The Game pass will convert any Xbox Gold membership you have into Game pass (up to 3 years) - so perhaps wait until Black Friday, purchase your Xbox Gold subscription and then buy the $1 Game pass.
