Just wondering has anyone tried out the new warhammer online game?

Reading this on stuff - http://www.stuff.co.nz/4721596a28.html and just had to laugh, can anyone really compete with world of warcraft?

Yes they can, Eszter competed with it and one. Hence I nolonger waste my money or time playing it.

Also, as summer is almost here, I think sun/beaches/bbq's/beer and generally being outside will make for some pretty intense competition!

Why, do you want one too pebbs? Tongue out

One of the guys here at work is a uber-serious gamer who participates in lots of betas - Warhammer being one of them.  He loves Warhammer and has raved a lot about it since he was invited into the initial closed betas (within the NDA of course).  He thinks WoW is a bit Disneyish and boring, but he is more "hardcore".

I play both games and have to admit I like Warhammer at first, but it got a wee bit boring as its more PVP focused.

I tend to prefer WoW because it has more player interaction, i.e. group questing, raiding and just farting around in general.

I don't think I'll play War as intensely as I have been until they integrate a little more interaction or more plot to the game.
You can level fast, fight and get bored.

WoW still remains my fave out of the two.
