My kids are massive dinosaur fans and desperately want Jurassic World Evolution 2. Its on sale at the moment on the Xbox store, so I want to buy it now and then activate it Christmas eve. I can't see any easy option to do this, any ideas? I prefer digital because they destroy discs, otherwise Id just buy a physical copy.

Following this too, similar dilemma. Hate discs just a pain to switch in and out etc.
Want to get cricket 22, probably just end up getting an Xbox voucher or similar.

You can purchase the game as a gift and it'll give you a code to redeem in exchange. Keep in mind though the region of the redeeming account must be the same region where it was purchased from (ie. NZ account can only redeem codes purchased from NZ store).

Although I have heard that this can be circumvented by changing the Xbox system region in settings if the code was purchased from another country.
