I see the steam summer sale is on.   How do steam sales operate these days? 

There's a couple of games discounted that I'd like to try (cyberpunk and elden ring)  - do the discounts change over the course of the sale these days?  i.e. am I better off waiting for these to come up on a daily\featured deal or is the discount unlikely to change.
