Need help finding gaming PCs for my teenagers. Is this one ok or does anyone have an idea of what else I should look at? Thanks in advance for any help offered! They mainly play games off steam (Beamng, Fallout, Rimworld etc) and some online gaming (roblox mostly)

The CPU is 3 generations behind, the GPU is two generations behind.

For the games you listed they will be okay, but this machine was entry level 4-5 years ago. Any modern/demanding games you will start to struggle.

Take look at https://www.pyronic.al/ for idea of what to look for.

Might be worth buying parts and paying a geek to assemble.

If your $1200 is your budget limit.

1)

2)

If you can go another $69, you can get the AM5 platform that should be live for a years.

#1 compared to the one you posted is better CPU,GPU but both end of life platforms.

#2 compared to the one you posted is better CPU, same GPU but is a living platform.

#1 has a better GPU than both #2 and the one posted.

Suggest you get something soon before prices go up from the RAM shortage.

Also consider in your budget, do you need a monitor (if so have one already, what is it, as it can determine GPU), mouse, keyboard, power cables, network cables etc

Games they play today are fine on that.  Games they're looking forward to playing "tomorrow" might not be.  Ask them what they're looking forward to that's not out yet, then look at the recommended specs for those, and then see what's in your budget that meets those specs +/-

Too late. I paid nearly $200 less for this about 2 months ago

Prebuilt PCs might still be priced for when they were built... maybe... maybe not. Components definitely increased.
