Looking at getting a mid-end racing sim setup, budget of ~$1600 or lower, must be DD,  load cell pedals, and have a shifter.

Mainly for PC, but PS5 compatibility would be nice, as I might get one down the line.

Whats everyones opinon on this? The RS50 wheel is on special,  normally  $1400.

Looked at the MOZA range, but their hgp shifter is known for having a bad design, and will eventually fail prematurely.

Moza over the logitech stuff.

Do you need a shifter to start with when the wheel has paddles? maybe look at something else if you do there are many better options at similar price points for the shifter.

I didn't think moza had a ps5 compatible wheel?

I'd been eyeing the Thrustmaster t598, but changing the raceline pedals for a loadcell brake pedal.  I'm exclusively ps5 though.

Speednation.co.nz is a another local vendor with moza and thrustmaster.

The other thing to consider is what are you mounting it all to?

Do you have a rig?

It's a pity supercheap had a real limited run of their seat/rig combo for about $350.  It was a really good price for an entry level rig.  I think they're called a monza.

By rig you mean PC then yes. Will be mounting to my desk for now, but will eventually get something like a Next Level Racing GT Lite Pro Folding Cockpit, so I can pack it away.

You can get an adapter for a few hundred, which piggy packs of the non compatible wheel, that mimics the g923 in order to work on the PS5,  ,Brook Raslution 2,  only downside is if your wheel has heaps of buttons you don't get to use all of them

Seat can be a little uncomfortable for longer stints, and there's not a huge amount of adjustments.   But when everything else seems to be about $1k > $30k - I thought, good enough.
