Hard choice or save for ps5 , our Xbox hardly gets used now more Xbox games on PC or play PS5 . Hasn’t been a good Xbox games for awhile . Sad I’m not even interested in Forza 

Xbox as a brand has not been doing well. If you have a pc better to play xbox published games there, exclusive lineup is better on PS5 along with cross-platform games.

The controller looks good though I got the ps5 one so may get this as well 

My gaming PC is potato 1050 on a 9th gen i5 so I have actually removed all my steam games from it and pulled the SSDs to use elsewhere till the AI price problem blows over and I can upgrade it without spending a months pay on something basic.

If there is a special edition PS5 pro or something I might get that if there is a GTA 6 bundle otherwise I will be sticking to what I have on the launch PS5. main question is if anyone has recieved any emails from places about preorders or something because I have unsubbed from so many things now I miss these deals.

Havent heard a thing, even logged in this week to Xbox to check out game deals . PS5 had some good deals this week , I’m looking foward to getting 007 and wolverine when it comes out

i think this made the already bad predicament (vs playstation) even worse for xbox. and while it's a good media player, it's too expensive just for that.

also... i thought it was just the XBox Series X in 25th anniversary livery. is there anything changed/improved?

Nothing has changed hardware-wise. It’s just the case/controller that is original xbox style.

If you have an existing console it’s best to just keep it, the price increases are making it rough to upgrade at all and the minor gpu upgrade in ps5 pro isn’t worthwhile.

The only exclusive so far is Gears of War E-Day, Halo Campaign evolved and others that were announced for PS5 are still coming out.

@richms I would suggest trying to find a secondhand turing or ampere GPU, a friend just played through the new 007 on a 2070super and 3700x cpu and had a blast. It doesn’t take much to match or beat a PS5 base spec.

The Xbox has pretty much ended up as a media player these days . I did get top spin the other day for $17 from the wharehouse . They seem to be getting rid of all physical games . Only place now for us is JB hifi which is a bit of a drive .

Interesting. I have both and subscriptions for both. For years my xbox sat mostly untouched except for exclusives, but now I find gamepass ultimate has more games included I want to play and I spend a LOT more time on my Xbox. 

My kids are about 50/50 Mixed.

The ultimate is good, had to cut back on subs this year . We have the ps plus, switch so just went pc pass for Xbox. Add in family Spotify, sport now, prime , Disney and Netflix and soon HBO I need to contract to pay all the subs

I may buy the controller i got the ps one as well . $1500 is steep price , mabey ok if you don’t have already have one
