So just done a fresh install of Windows 7 RC. I backed up all my Steam games (Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead) so that I wouldn't have to reinstall or redownload the games and then redownload the updates.
That is a friggen fantastic feature.

So I go to the Steam website to download the client, then I'll reimport my games and I'll be away laughing.

But noooooo... I install Steam, with the latest available client.... And its sitting here forever updating!
What the hell man! Post the latest version on your website you dummies!

Man, its the niggly little things like that about Steam that really **** me off!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Wonderful concept, poorly executed.

Ah thats a shame that it didn't export properly. Personally, I just copy my whole steamapps folder onto my external harddrive and paste it into the new steam folder, hasn't failed me yet =]
