Maybe. Would have to see actual game play before I'd seriously consider it.

I also don't like playing Guitar Hero because I actually play guitar, or Singstar because I was once on NZ Idol...

Yea, I play guitar as well, and when I first played GH, it felt really awkward having to his one 'note' to last a bar.

I have been playing guitar for about 9 years, and yet love Guitar Hero. It was nothing like real guitar, but easy to pick up and have some fun, without comparing to playing the real thing.

That's a poor peice of reporting IMO - having a picture of a CDJ-400 is misleading to say the least!  Looking at what is rumoured to be the real deck will bring people back down to earth though as it's less than inspiring:

I definately agree, I've been playing for guitar for 10 years and I enjoy playing guitar hero. I don't compare the game to the real thing and it's all just for fun.

My (poorly made) point exactly!  If it's fun, it will be cool.

For me, I find it quiet annoying that some people can play Guitar Hero, expert 100% etc - but can't play an F on a real guitar. I started playing guitar about when Guitar Hero II came out and am very glad I concentrated on the real thing.

For me, I find it quiet annoying that some people can beat Brazil as Mongolia 8-0 on FIFA expert level - but always trip over their own feet when playing for our indoor football team on Thursday nights.  I started playing football about when FIFA99 came out and am very glad I concentrated on the real thing and shunned all video game entrtainment based on any activity I have ever partaken in "for real".  Wink

I can be honest and say the only thing I cant do as well in real life as I can in a game is get a headshot with a pistol from 100 yards away :)
