Am considering buying this title.  Has anyone played it, seen it played, thoughts, comments, anything?

Played the first one HEAPS and loved how you could just take a rocket launcher, fire it into the wall and just keep going until you've run out of ammo.  I hear the 'blowing up' of things is just as awesome and stepped it up a noch...

Quite keen, but $120 - sigh.  Just want to make sure my money is worth it :D

I played the demo the other day, and it wasn't bad... but seemed to easy to win. I just bowled on in with a vehicle, blasted my way into the building to get to the mech, and walked out.

Prototype is a hell of a game! it seems like a monster too, ive spent probably 4 hours on it and the end is nowhere in sight, sooo much to do yet! its like GTA where you have loads of side missons to accomplish with your primary missons.. Would have been nice to see some proper demolishion red fraction style though, would love to be able to bring buildings down..
have been thinking about red fraction 2 too, might get the demo myself

Um red faction isn't on PC anyway, so how does that work?

Right, we were both right garvani, it isn't out which is why I thought it was never coming (although I thought it was strange as it was PC on the older ones) but it will come out later :)

Gaming = all platforms?

I try to hire it out, but all the damn video stores haven't even heard of it or it's constantly out. Think I'm going for Prototype... try pop out at lunch and get it so I have some of the weekend to enjoy :D
