looking at getting a decent capture card for my 360.
blackmagic intensity pro sounds like one of the best but
just woindering, how exactly would i install it? im assuming
i would have to install it into my laptop and then hook it up
to my 360 using  'insert cable here', and then start video caping.

The card is setup in Media Center then you connect your XBOX to the MC over the network.

You will still be able to use your laptop for other stuff, net, email etc, while watching TV on the XBOX.

Pretty much any tuner card with BDA/PBDA drivers will work fine. Hauppauge have a good range of cards that work well, including some USB ones that would work with your laptop.

with the blackmagic, would i have to have someone physically open my laptop and insert it?
i dont see any vacant driver slots anywhere like you would on most desktops. I have a dell studio 15. so if i cannot get it installed i might have to go with a usb, can you get HD ones and do you have any recommendations?

cheers.
