Tekken 6 (NZ) $116.99 (gamesman.co.nz) $114.99 (mightape) $109.99 (fishpond) $99.99 (firstgames.co.nz)
Tekken 6 (mymemory) 38.95Pounds = $84.00 (which includes free shipping!) (I only looked 1 place)

Are we being ripped off in NZ with Game Prices?

Yep.

Although I don't think it's the retailer's fault - more likely the distributers/publishers.

It's almost like a oligopoly...
they all fix their prices and no one wants to lower their prices...

No competition at all...

Anyways...

I got my tekken 6 collectors edition for only $139.99
I originally pre-ordered from ebgames for $179.99...

EBGAMES is such a  RIP!

Its sorta went under the radar a bit with COD MW2, Dragonage:origins, DJ Hero etc etc all dropping around the same time.

We are totally getting ripped off for games here! What is my memory? Sounds a cheap option!

The force is strong with this one!

...and lazy...

I popped into EB in Glenfield a couple of weeks ago and asked what the pricing on PC version of COD MW2 was going to be...
"between $100 and $120"
"You dont have exact pricing yet ?"
"oh.... I suppose I can look it up" (slightly miffed look on his face becuase he had to move to a computer screen that was 30cm from him) "Yeah $120"
"thanks"

DSE that night had it for $99........ so where EB are sourcing their games, who knows...

I find mightyape is pretty good in their prices and if they are more expensive than other people they will match the price .hey have matched the price (or even gone lower) for everything I have got from them compared to other NZ online places.
