Common sense is not as common as you think.

Steam having huge sale as well, great package deals.
GOG.com also having some reasonable sales.

Mightyape is awesome, bought a few games last boxing day sale.

Their standard prices are a little more than retail, but their sale prices are awesome.

I brought Battlefield 2 collectors edition from Mighty ape, $39 comes with BF2, Special forces and the booster pack. Was a pain in the butt to activate the booster pack with EA so be warned.

Downloaded the latest and probably the last update for BF2 - version 1.50 (2gigs in size) where the expansion and booster packs comes free with the update! lol I was surprised in multi player to find New Zealand servers one im playing on atm is gamerhub.co.nz. Plenty of aussie servers but its good to see a kiwi server available, at least we can all get good ping.

Im still a bit green behind the ears, my first server i join I got an instant bann,  first time logging in the game put me right in a random server, im on some yank server with 280 ping and grab the first vechicle i see which is a tank, I head out to cap a flag where i accidently run over one of my own team members.

Next thing in big letters a message comes up

KIWIZION46 YOU ARE A RETARD. KILLING YOUR OWN TEAM MEMBERS IS NOT ALLOWED YOU ARE BANNED!!!

Sheesh man it was a mistake! Its not like i repeated it over and over.

Now im pretty careful at what im doing!  lol

BF2 is an intresting pick given it is old, not single player and about to be replaced. I played it for 1100 hours then got bored.

1100 hours? So thats 8 hours a day, for 137 days.... :S
Even at 10 hours per week, thats still two years worth of gaming.

Obviously I do not have enough spare time on my hands :P
