The reason there are so few GSP's around now is because of the price they set.

$50 for a server is a good price, i wouldnt call it a rip off.

The only reason people saw better prices was with Gamers.net.nz who were sponsored by orcon (i think it was orcon anyway).

International bandwidth costs far too much at the moment. Prices have to reflect this.

Gamer Hub is a non profit community not a game server provider.

If you own the game server software, you could purchase hosting from SiteHost. Very well known and reputable.

I could be wrong but i don't think hes looking to rent/co-locate a dedicated server, hes just looking to rent a game server.

It's not NZ based but they will assign you one in Australia. Excellent service and sharp prices. They are also hosting BF2-BC2 BETA servers and ping to Aus Servers are 45ms.

Check Ultimate Gamers:
http://ultimategamers.co.nz/

Its a new startup gaming community. They have brand new servers currently being imported from the US that are going into the Orcon Data Center next week (I'm setting them up for them). If you talk to them they'll probably be able to give you a better deal than advertised on their website.

Hi all, If you are looking for game servers within New Zealand please have a look at Gameanz.com, we are focused on bringing dedicated game servers to the kiwi community.

I do not mean to spam or advertise but I would like to let you know we exist and that we compete with better prices for kiwi gamers.

Thanks,
Tj

Check out the guys at streamline servers (http://streamline.net.nz/)

It seems a lot of game server providers have gone down in recent months.
