My wife wants to buy one of these  but can't find any info .  I see they on Amazon pre-order for NZ$270 but they won't let you buy one from NZ.  Going by the price of the current DSi model the NZ price will most likely be $400..

Anyone know when this is going to be released??

TIA

I haven't seen an official NZ release date yet but it's coming out on April 15th in Oz, and the nz ebgames site has it listed for release on 15th April as well, so that's as good a guess as any.  No suggestion of price though, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's closer to $450 than $400, if not higher.

Thanx,

Looks like Amazon UK will let me buy it for NZ$311 Plus shipping.  Will wait to see what the NZ price is first though no doubt we will be ripped off again..

Note that DSi and DSi XL are region locked. So if you import one from the UK or USA, you probably won't be able to run any locally purchased games on it, except for older DS games which haven't been DSi "enhanced" yet.

Yeah. That was the main reason for buying it locally . We most likely could have bought it cheaper overseas. Good old regional coding. Design to screw the local markets like ours..
