Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is on Big Time and plays Bad Company 2 on PC. I just wanna know if it could run just fine with no or little lag. Reason I ask is that I'm currently on one of the other plans (I think it's the Adventurer) and it's fine. But I do use up my usage quite a lot (other ppl in the house like streaming movies etc) so I wonder if moving to Big Time would be a good choice.

I understand that sometimes onlines games traffic gets managed. I played some MMO's in the past and some were running fine (was on Go Large at the time) and some lagged real bad (because I was on Go Large). I upgraded the plan and these games no longer had the latency issues.

So could anyone tell me?

Thanks!

I have been playing Battle Field Bad Company over the Big Time plan and have had no problems.

I believe there are plenty of local servers for Bad Company 2 (unlike Modern Warfare 2).

Should be fine.

I've been playing Left 4 Dead 2 on local NZ servers no problem on Big Time.

As posted in the main BT thread, for myself and afew others that are on Bigtime, its hit and miss, sometimes you can get a really good session where you get a drop from the server once every hour or so, othertimes the lag and constant disconnections can become a pain!

Im on bigtime and regulary play on the ON3 NZ bad company 2 servers, usually while my mate is playing modern warfare2 on his 360 as well. I havnt once had a problem with the connection, always is upto it. Great game! On a sidenote, got a G35 surround sound headset in the weekend, had my best round of over 13500 points Cool

edit: ive only played on NZ servers and the occasional GameArena server in Aus.. Both play fine, i imagine connecting to the US would invoke copious amounts of swearing and headaches

Hey how did you manage to play on NZ servers? Everytime I did a search on servers, I could only find Australian and American servers (obviously Aussie servers had better pings)... do I need to do something in particular?

Grats on the 13500 points btw lol..

Do a search in the server broswer for  ON3
Caps are important.. those 8 or so servers are NZ based and usually well populated.

Hm my stats page wouldn't update and sometimes the server browser wouldn't return anything. Would this have anything to do with the fact that I'm on Big Time now?

Hi all, I've been experiencing this weird issue where the stats page wouldn't load or update so it would show my stats as rank 1 (Private). Playing games on the NZ servers is fine (not laggy). I assume this has something to do with Big Time.

So for those of you playing BC2 and are on Telecom's Big Time, is this happening to you too? If so and you know of a fix, could you tell me please?

Thanks heaps!
