I've actually finished it 100% including paid for Memories 13+14 with 100% on everything.

After than with no Multiplayer it gets a little boring..

but whilst playing it.. it was a great game.

Played the first on PC so wanted to do the same with the second. Waited months and months for it to be released.

They announced the DRM, I cancelled my pre-order.

Refused to buy it/play it because of the excessive (imo) DRM system

Thats why you get it on console and not PC

Whoa... dont get into that arguement - of course PC graphics will outdo PS/Wii/Xbox becuase the PC owner has the option of spending oodles of $$$ on a new video card to boost the graphics and performance.... console owners buy a console because it does what they want and are happy with it.

I own an old PC (sig) which still does very nicely for most games but Im also buying a 5 year old console which in some cases outdoes my PC for graphics.

Each to their own and leave it at that....

Yeah if you want to play it buy it for a console. People have had a lot of trouble with it on the pc, pirating it would be the best option lol but anyways its a great game, played it on ps3 with the extra addons. It was fun but as it was stated before the novelty does wear off quickly.

I'm not 'getting into that argument. But if I've already paid more to have a well specced PC that is more than capable of running the game at high settings, and with (IMO) nicer controls. Why would I pay more for a graphically inferior console version just because Ubisoft have decided to release the PC version as crippleware?

I'd sooner avoid the release altogether.

I will say this though to the inferrior graphics comment, mabey that applys to Xbox 360 and Wii but not the PS3.  I haven't come across anyone yet who has a PC powerful enough to make a game look anywhere as good as Uncharted 2: Among Theives, and Killzone 2.  If you got a good full HD 1080P LCD TV and good HDMI cable then youl make most games look just as good as PC, but in saying console games do lack the Anti Aliasing and Anistropic filtering to smooth the edges off on graphics but hey the PS3 does pretty damn good, most will agree.

This isn't about Uncharted 2 or Killzone though, it's about Assassin's Creed 2. Which does look much better on the PC. ;)

It works both ways though. Cross platform platform games usually end up looking/running a lot better on the 360, just look at Bayonetta or GTA IV as examples.

lol I'v heard it both ways though, Modern Warfare 2 looks better on the PS3 than the Xbox spiral.  And as for Assassin's Creed 2 PS3 looks the best out of the consoles, but yes I will agree with you, if you got the spec for PC then it will look better.  But in my opinion multi platform games are s**t alltogether, what you really want to compare is PC only games with Xbox only games with PS3 only games.  Have you seen the graphics for Gran Turismo 5 and God of War 3?  Your eyeballs will melt the graphics are that good :)

Gran Turismo 5 is vapourware. It's going to come out the same time Duke Nukem Forever does. (Hey I'm not bitter, having been waiting for this game since getting my PS3 over 3 years ago).

But yes God of War III does look fantastic. Although like almost all 360/PS3 games it's low res and upscaled to 1080P.

I got Assassin's Creed 2 for my PC, and it's bloody brilliant.

YES, the DRM system is awfully draconian, HOWEVER I have not had a single problem with disconnections etc. Even when I went over my broadband cap, and was effectively on Dial Up speeds, I still never had any problems. Seriously, MOST people have a permanent internet connection on any PC they will be using for this type of gaming, so it's not the end of the world.

Anyway, the game is brilliant on PC - although I'd recommend either a 360 or PS3 style controller. Graphics and atmosphere are stunning (especially if you've been to Venice/Florence etc).

Haha yes but he difference between Duke and GT is that Gran Turismo is or has been MADE lol I know it's been bloody ages but it is going to be 'the' driving game of all time I kid you not - big words I know.  And it is not a vapourware?  It's going to eat Forza for breakfast lol it's the most expensive games ever made, good things take time just like mainland cheese..
