Have just been reading todays reviews and it looks Stunning

$96 at the warehouse for preorder, thinking of going in after work and ordering it

Thinking the PS3 version for me, the final video there looks tops. especially all the interactive games, ability to be good or bad and the upgrades and accessories. Also the posse mode in multiplayer looks bloody classic.

And to think that I don't really like western movies or any previous western games, this might have just swayed me

I have moved across the ditch. Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

$96 ? thats a bloody good price :) Everyone else ive seen is asking $110+.

Id order it but have slight issue of no PS3 yet (not far off)..... think my neighbour has ordered it tho after i told him about the game... he YouTubed it and was "MUST HAVE!!" :) Might have to sneak over and play his copy till I get my PS3.

Yeah, I am just about to sell my Modern Warfare 2(sick of the n00b tubers, snipers, campers, $30 map pack for 3 maps) and get it...didn't even know it existed till this morning, must have subconciously been skipping the previews because of the Western themed look, glad I finally clicked on a trialer though

I haven't thought of much else for the last two weeks - almost. I see it has already garnered an average rating of 95% from the first 23 critics' reviews over at Metacritic:

Yeah it's pretty highly anticipated.

Rockstar normally release a PC version delayed a few months after the console version. So if/when that happens I'll probably get it, probably on a Steam special or pre-order.

Heh... PC version would be cool but my box wont handle it... think the latest game ive got installed now is Borderlands...anything beyond that will kill me :) hence the PS3....

I think this is going to be 'the' best western game of all time - and most likely the only one haha. I am definitely going to be buying this.

IGN.com claim this is Rockstars best game of all time - even better than GTAIV. It really does look stunning, you can be an outlaw, hunt bears, wolves have duels, kill mexicans lol and when riding to a new area there are no loading screens and the screen doesn't pause either.

Alot of work has gone into this game - possibly game of the year for 2010?? Who knows, gota see GT5 though :)

Yeah apparently the PS3 one is only in 620p vs the Xbox 720p. But in side to side comparisons it's not even noticeable and is meant meant to be countered by the fact that the DLC in the next few months will be free on PS3 but paid for on XBoxLive :)

I'd rather take free content then a measly increase in horizontal res...

Really? I did not know that - but as for looking smoother the PS3 has very advanced anti-analiasing and anistopic filtering on the graphics card.

I personally think the PS3 version looks better too and in most cases looks better with all games :)

Damnit, might have to go pay cash for a pre order tomorrow :( Went to get it through Mightyape delivered Friday and my CC bounced, checked it, someones frauded my card...

So have to wait 2 days for Mastercard to sort the stuff out and a day or two for a new card
