Shows up on NZ playstation home page, but when click on link get 404 error link broken? Looked in playstation store no sign of it there. Can't work out why they put it on nz web site if not available here.

Thanks. I clicked on link above and still got 404 error page not found, this from the ps3 browser. Got firmware 3.30 which when check for updates says is the latest. I'll check after 29th, thanks.

Just turned on my computer and worked fine, ps3 still coming up 404 error. Looks like Sony made a web page ps3 can't handle, even though the what's new on the ps3 xmb points to it.

Not completely on-topic, but didn't want to create a new thread. Does anyone know whether the free games downloaded via Playstation Plus will stay on your console once your subscription ends?

Think I saw somewhere that the content stays but youre unable to play...reqs an active subscription - but could be wrong....wish I could remember where I saw that.

Hopefully that is not true :/ What's the point in getting content if when your subscription ends, it's not usable.

According to the linked page above, "access to some content, excluding discounted content, terminates at the end of the subscription period."

So I'd say that at the end of your subscription, the freebies stop working.

That's the whole point of subscription, to lock you in so you can continue using the services...

With WoW though you can easily join or run your own private server and still enjoy the game.

Is there any point to PSN+ in NZ considering how horrendously slow the PSN network tends to be? I can download 100MB or so from my PC or the 360 in 2-3 minutes, on my or my flatmates PS3 it usually takes around 3 times as long. Do Sony have any sort of local cache for their data, as it's pretty ridiculous.

Also, yes, it's been confirmed that any PSN+ material you download stops functioning as soon as your subscription expires.

+1 for me. Never had any problems with speed of downloads on PSN. Just downloaded the 2 gig Blur multiplayer demo today very speedily.
