Hi all, recently got my new PC up and running.

Iv been playing far cry 2 on ultra high everything, DX10 mode with AA enabled.

Runs smooth as for the first 30 mins or so then starts to stutter and finally crashes to desktop if i dont restart the game.

I can ctrl, alt, delete out of it (once crashed), restart far cry 2 and it runs perfectly for another 30 mins or so.

Or I can exit out once it starts to stutter, and re enter the game and that will solve the problem for another 30 mins or so.

This is the only game it does it with.

I have been reading on the net about a DX10 "memory leak" bug that causes this.

Anyone got a fix for this other then running it in DX9? Iv tried using driver sweeper and reinstalling the newest ATI drivers and still have the same problem..

Temps are all fine.

my comp specs are below

my comp specs are:
 i7 930, OC'd to 3.3Ghz, hyperthreading on.
6GB 1333mhz ram, running triple channel.
2 x HD4870 graphics cards in crossfire
850w silverstone decathlon PSU
Windows 7 64bit.

Cheers

Have you patched it?

I have had no problems running it...   and it's also running fine on my asus ul80vt lappy(albeit in dx9 mode)
