I have a Belkin Router, and for some reason when i use wifi to play guildwars, it just doesnt load anyting past (a client load screen stuck at 0%... :()

As soon as i plug my ethernet cable in.. it works fine (wired connection works perfectly)

I play other such games as Rune of Magic, and have no problem connecting to it with wifi..

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Thanks.

I used command prompt to get my ip to do this DMZ thing, says my ip should be like 192.168.

its just showing IPv4 address -------------------- 192.168.2.2 (which cant be right :S)

even my routers declining the number on its settings to enable DMZ :S :(

I don't think it's anything with your router, but your Windows Firewall (assuming you are not using a third party firewall).

When you use Windows 7 and connect to a network it asks if it's a Home, Work or Public network. If you are at home it will "open" different ports and allow different programs through.

First thing, open the network center and make sure the network is correctly identified as Home or Work. Then open Control Panel go to Firewall and make sure it's On. If it's On, turn it Off and try the game again.

If it works, turn the Firewall On again, and click Allow Program through Firewall to add that program to the exception list.
