Duke Nukem 3D, of course. Best eye-candy in an FPS.

No Killzone and Killzone 2 in there? I guess from your mention of Halo you're more of an XBOX fan ;)

Yeah the classics would have to include Quake and Doom although after playing modern FPS games it can be hard to spend any length of time in the older ones.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a good one. Lots of vehicles to choose from. Some of the Medal of Honour series were pretty good too.

Star Wars Battle series front had good mixture of environments and weaponry.

BTW - I had forgotten about Duke Nukem 3D. Loved smashing the toilets :-)

I have recently started playing Dead Space & Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360 and whilst these are not strictly FPS they are proving to be fantastic games (Dead Space shouldn't be played alone in the dark!) Worth a look in my opinion.
