yeah, i cant be bothered witd physical media... Tongue out if you have more than 50 games, you will find it easier to have everything in the digital format. start steam, select which game you want to play and off you go.

im guessing your playing it on ps3?
the beauty of pc, dlc works anywhere :D

im assuming the DLC will be pal and ntsc to cater for the whole world. so i would think that as long as it works on your xbox (pal) u should be sweet

c71931f: Probably going to get mine from ebay uk. 60-70 inc hk post tracked - takes 2-4 days after they send it to get to new zealand.. But also might not, because apparently dlc stuff doesn't work?so if i ever wanted dlc items.. :/ does it matter in regards to dlc, if the game's region free?

Referring to the ps3 version by the way..

hmm can you post a link of an auction of black ops which offers tracking?

pre-ordered the hardened edition from Mighty Ape. They did a price-beat on firstgames, so got it for $130 shipped.

Activision are a lame publisher who do regional pricing, there are a still a few other publishers who still do regional pricing.

However, most publisher have changed to sensible across the board pricing for digital distribution so you only need to do this for a few titles.........

Once you are past the age check to view the game page appending ?cc=[country-code] to the url will show you other countries pricing (usually in USD).

http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/?cc=us

http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/?cc=nz
http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/?cc=sg
http://store.steampowered.com/app/42700/?cc=au

You can see it's $59 USD for US and SG (Singapore) and $89 USD for NZ and AU.

Now you know there is a price difference setup a US or SG account buy the game and gift to your NZ account.  You might need a proxy or vpn to do this haven't tried recently.

In my opinion there is no justification for this price difference so buy with a US or SG account and gift to your NZ account!
