RUNE (Halls of Vahalla) For PC and MAC

Forget the single player, update to the multiplayer Halls of Valhalla and start taking others on with your sword or axe welding viking.  This game is 10yrs  old and still multi player matches running, Arena matches is the best experience ive had in a one on one fight, You choose your viking, you choose your massive sword or axe then you wait for the countdown and go crazy trying to wipe your opponents limps off before he does the same to you instant win if you take off his head of course.  Depending on who your fighting you have to plan the fight & know when to strike  where with newbies its run up and off with his head! Doesn't take long to learn the ropes noobs shouldn't really exist in this game.

Why doesn't some major game company  try to get its dirty hands on the rights and bring out RUNE 2 or something similar, 10yrs people are still logging on for matches tells you something.  IF you haven't tried Rune grab the game and head straight to multiplayer you wont regret it, only problem is the servers running are in Europe so expect lagg but still playable. You can have lan matches even better against friends or host your own server.  The graphics are still good and looks better now with higher resolution monitors.

This game should be at multiplayer events. Its just awesome with a lot of laughs.

Good luck trying to find a copy in NZ, I seen a couple for sale on Amazon.

Rune's a classic that's for sure... lots of fun at LAN's back in the day.
