Hi guys,

My flatmate is Canadian and has bought his gaming machine with him from home. His PSU is this guy: http://tech.icrontic.com/articles/reviews/corsair_tx750_review/

I understand USA power is 120V and NZ is 230. The input on this says 90-264V Universal.

Before we plug this expensive beast in, can someone confirm that it's fine?

Cheers
Aaron

230 is between 90 and 264, so in theory you should be fine, its the bottom end of the market that is the problem where they would have a switch on the power supply but to save a few cents they leave it out. See that a lot on power supplies sold locally in the bargain case end of the market.

From your link:

Universal AC input 90~264V automatically scans and detects the correct voltage

As long you've got the right plug it should be fine. Older PSUs had a switch to change it, but the new ones sense the voltage by themselves.

 I've got a TX-750 too :)
