Do you want a good game, or a good simulation? They are different things...

all i want is a nice driving game like burnout paradise or NFS series, winning races gaining points etc. and nice graphics.

I notice that game has rockets and other stuff that other dont have but want to know if the drinving is good and the races are not just a bit of the same stuff.

thanks,

Ah.. sorry - I am the other end of the scale. I don't care about flash gfx but crave realism. I drive GTR2, rFactor and a little GTR Evo. I also use the Official ferrari sim and that is only a hot lapper with 1 car on 3 tracks. No actual racing.

My ex liked F1 2010 though - good career and nice GFX with ok driving...

Cheers - N

I may try that GTR2 game i saw a clip on youtube and looked like driving for real but is it all laps fixed events or can you wonder around open world.

F1 sounds great but maybe tricky the driving though

I like games with good physixs and nice image. i used to have xbox but now PC looks better in a tv screen.

Thankx for the ideas,

Andy

Well, GTR2 is a racing sim, there's no wandering around like test drive etc...

GTR2 in sim mode will be harder than F1 2010, no contest. F1 2010 is a GAME and it's designed to be playable by most people without much investment. GTR2 and the other real sims are really demanding and reward LOTS of practise and proper driving techniques.

Not sure about Pure as I have not played it but I think it did not review well.

If you just want a bit on fun rather than simulation, I could recommed Grid, Dirt & Dirt2 and NFS Shift on the PC.

GTR2 is most definitely a sim with no free world roaming etc. Still OK tho' but can be frustratng.

Oh, sorry I was thinking of Fuel not Pure! Pure dose seem to review OK and there is a demo available, so maybe try that first? Grid & Dirt can be had quite cheaply these days.

i think blur is amazing. i have clocked it :)
its a great game IMO because its like midnight club 3's multiplayer mode (this has powerups) and its fast adrenaline fueled racing. i own it on xbox so im not sure of PC specs. i spent $50 on it which i think was fair at the time

gz ftw
