“So here’s what you need to know,” he tells us. “You are Jason Brody. Your girlfriend’s missing, your boat’s been destroyed, and you’re on a mysterious island hiding a dark secret, and where everyone on it, is insane.”

I'm a late starter with Farcry 2, what I found out on the forums is the devs do not support Windows 7 so if in multiplayer you cannot download the custom maps the game being 2yrs old now there is no support. So if you get Farcry 2 and running windows 7 the only maps your be able to play are those that are available from Ubisofts servers which hardly anyone plays as they are all playing on custom maps.

Single player side well its farcry - run into a trigger zone and all of a sudden a jeep spawns out of no where with bad guys wanting to take you out. I like the idea your some kind of hitman taking on missions - think of Farcry 2 as a Rockstar game Grand Theft Auto in the jungle.

Farcry 3 we will be back on the island. Sounds good to me.

I've never played Farcry but I always hear good things. Maybe it's time for me to pick it up.
