Hey, well as my title says COD MW3 or BF3, which did you pre-order or are wanting to purchase?

I have Pre-Ordered MW3 via Steam, it cost me just over $70 a couple months back which seems good to me and I got the original MW free (Already had a retail copy but who cares, free game right!).
I am a massive COD fan, not really for MP (Although it's pretty good) but for the Single Player Campaign, after playing through MW & MW2 I really want to see what they have come up with.  Now on the subject of BF3, I've seen several flamewars about which is better, TBH I don't care, they trade blows & it really depends on what style of playing you prefer.  After playing the Bf3 Beta for awhile I really don't want to get it for the MP, especially since it needs Origin, which is awful.  Looking forward to hearing about the Single Player portion though :)

I have yet to pre-order - I'm picking up a copy of BF3 this week. Hopefully I can find one (XBOX 360)

I have never played a BF game to date (nor did I play the Beta) but from everything I've been reading it looks promising, hence my choice. Coming from MW & Black Ops, I'm hoping BF3 will live up to the expectations. If that fails, I can always get MW3.

I pre ordered BF3 in February, felt like something different. Last game I played was MW2.

I've preordered BF3...but mainly cause I play a lot of Battlefield Bad Company 2. After playing the Battlefield 3 beta, I still reckon that the Bad Company 2 multiplayer gameplay is better. When the Bad Company series came out their was a huge WOW factor about it, like destruction and the sound was impressive. Now Battlefield 3 has just pretty graphics added, a tweak on the destruction, and a far more improved version of Battlefield 2.  There are far more hiding spots in Battlefield 3, for campers, which sucks for players like me who want to keep moving forward rather than just camp. But with more vehicles you can have a lot more fun :)

I've never reallly played the Modern Warfare series, I only see it as kill as many players as you can, and just respawn in seconds to do it all over again. No fun their, unless you want to rage about being awesome.

That's my brief opinion.

At release, neither! I'll probably pick them up on sale sometime.

The main reason: It feels like for both series they release a "new" version of almost the same game every year or 2nd year now.

I pre-ordered BF3, and thoroughly enjoyed the Beta.
I pretty much only ever play the multiplayer part of the game, and having enjoyed BFBC2 I think that this will definately be a step up.
I am also a fan of the COD games though, and have been thrashing Black Ops Mulitplayer for the past half year or so. I will probably get MW3 on or near release date too, however I am a bit put off with the fact that the ranked servers will only be done via P2P (similar to that of MW2).

From what ive seen of both games, CODMW seems aimed at more the SP experience, and BF3 for multiplayer. CODMW MP will be great as well though, but think BF3 will have the edge...

I havent ordered either of them yet.... most of my friends who I'd play with are on PC still and my PC wont run it - so Id be limited to my PS3 but not a lot of my friends have PS3s to team up with....

I'll buy MW3 and hope the optional challenges (Was that called Black op's) in the game itself is as good.

The mission where you are near the water and have to attack the house was one of the best and most infuriating I can recall. Prob took me 50 turns on the hardest setting.

Ive come from free to play crappy FPS games like combat arms, then jumped on the xbox bandwagon for MW2, got a gaming PC and got blops and bc2.

Preordered BF3 from PT, to me its just a better overall game, plus last time i tried blops it was near impossible to find a decent non-nuketown server... (im sure MW3 has a tiny as shipment/nuketown like map as well) which honestly kills all fun after playing bc2 for a few months

Picked up BF3 last night. Very buggy so far. Hopefully this will get better over time.

Grabbed the last copy of BF3 at DSE Downtown, installing now. Never a good sign when theres already a 400mb update needed.

Not sure what issues you are seeing. Has not been any bad bugs so far. About the most annoying was the deploy button not going blank and having to spam it a few times before you deploy but that was not all the time. Certainly compared to the beta much much better.

Most of the bugs I've seen are in the SP campaign. To be fair to Dice, this is to be expected with a new engine.

Ah! Have not even touched single player yet and if it is buggy at the mo I might just wait a bit.
