Hey guys,

I need some help with MW3 online play

My brother and I both have MW3 on PS3 & we are trying to join each other in a party to play online however its continually says "Cannot join party" even after accepting an invite.
We're on different networks as he's in Hamilton & i'm in Auckland.

I've done a bit of google searching on this & it seems to be it could be our NAT settings.

Currently, the game displays my NAT setting as 'Strict'.

What would happen if i change this setting? Would it have any adverse impact on my internet connection or connection of my devices to my router?
I'm currently running a Technicolor TG582n on Telecom

Anyone else experienced this type of issue?

Appreciate any help anyone could provide

Generally those free modems from Telecom ie: Thomson/Technicolor TG series, are a curse for gamers.

Try logging into the admin ui and enabling upnp, the game should be able to request the router dynamically open ports after that.
