Job started at 07:30 with the Chorus / Visonstream team being on the door step bright and early with a team of 5, so along with my Account Manager and SDM from Chorus and a few WxC people sitting around watching we watched the progress and took a few photo's of the days progress (great Job on the Photos Brian) ,
The Job finished and service was live at 16:55... That's right the install took with a team of 5 people 9.5 Hours, now this was for a number of reasons and it was not from any lack of endeavor or effort from the Chrous / Visonstream staff , but boy did it highlight some issues and costs involved with what should be a pretty standard install, I live in a fairly new area we have been in this p[lace since new and its only 15 years old but there was some major issues with getting the fibre through the trunking in a few places.
My hats off to the Boys doing the work, bloody tough work when they it doesn't go right and I will struggle to see how this is going to ramp up if these are going to be normal type problems, but this is a problem for the service companies to deal with and I think they themselves are well aware of the issues they are encountering, we had some fairly good discussions with them around this as well....
Photos are here, now we actually made a day of this so yes there are some Lazy people around just watching the work ... it was purely for scientific research I can assure you

Photos live below as there are too many to post in the thread
